The Clinical Pathways Working Group, led by Prof. Alex Thompson, is the driving force behind the clinical care aspect of the EC Partnership.
The Working Group aims to trial different models of care to facilitate increased community testing and treatment of people who inject drugs with chronic hepatitis C infection. This will led to improved efficiency in the models of care and ensure the model of care for hepatitis C is sustainable, and able to continue beyond the period of the grant's funding. These models of care will be explored at EC sites throughout Victoria.
